Arkansas employer registration

We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Arkansas Taxpayer Access Point (ATAP) for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer ID
State income tax: Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA)
You'll get your Employer ID and tax rate within about 3 weeks
State unemployment tax: Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS)
You'll get your employer ID and tax rate within 2 weeks after your first employee starts work
 
Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Arkansas issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to enter your Employer ID and filing schedule into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
