Idaho employer registration

We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Idaho State Tax Commission TAP for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer ID
State income tax: Idaho State Tax Commission (STC)
You'll get your income tax withholding number within a few business days
State unemployment tax: Idaho Department of Labor (DOL)
You'll get your Withholding Permit Number and tax rate within 2 weeks after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Idaho issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to set up your TAP login and enter your tax IDs & rates into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
