We'll register you with:
Tax portal: MyTax Illinois for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer ID
State income tax: Illinois Department of Revenue
You'll get your Taxpayer ID and Sequence Number within about a few business days
State unemployment tax: Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES)
You'll get your Unemployment Account Number and tax rate within a week after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Illinois issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to enter your details and tax rates into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
