Kentucky employer registration

We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Kentucky Business OneStop and eMINTS (for those in Louisville) for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) and Kentucky Business OneStop Portal
You'll get your within about a week
State unemployment tax: Kentucky Office of Employment and Training
You'll get your KEIN and UI tax rate and tax rate within a week after you run your first payroll
Local tax agencies: Louisville Metro Revenue Commission and/or other for local taxes

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Kentucky issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to enter your ID numbers, rates, and adjust local tax settings (if applicable) into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
