We'll register you with:
Tax portal: LA Wage and Tax System for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Louisiana Department of Revenue (DOR) and Secretary of State
You'll get your Revenue Account Number within about a week
State unemployment tax: Louisiana Workforce Commission
You'll get your Employer Account Number, UI Contribution Rate, and Standard Occupational Classification Code(s) within a month after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once the Department of Revenue issues your Employer ID, we'll work with you to enter your Employer ID into payroll. After that, we'l remind you to watch the mail for letters from the Louisiana Workforce Commission. You'll we'll guide you through entering all of your employer IDs, tax rates and SOC codes correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
