Maryland employer registration

We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Maryland Tax Connect for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Comptroller of Maryland and
You'll get your Your Central Registration Number (CRN) and your withholding deposit schedule for income tax within about 2 weeks
State unemployment tax: Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR)
You'll get your Your Employer Account Number and tax rate within about 2 weeks
 
Once you submit your form, we'll send you a document for e-signature to grant us permission to register on your behalf (required by the State for us to do our job).
 
Once we "make it official, you can sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Maryland issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to set up your Maryland Tax Connect login, and enter your Employer Numbers and tax deposit schedule into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
