We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Mississippi Department of Revenue and
You'll get your Tax Account ID Number and Withholding Filing Status within about 2 weeks
State unemployment tax: Mississippi Department of Employment Security
You'll get your Employer Account Number (EAN) and unemployment tax rate and tax rate within a few days after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Mississippi issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to set up your Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) login and enter your Tax Account IDs and rates into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
