We'll register you with:
Tax portal: New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department online and Unemployment Insurance Tax Self-Service System
We'll securely share your login credentials for paying and managing your tax accounts along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department
You'll get your Wage Withholding Tax (WWT) within about a couple of business days
State unemployment tax: New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS)
You'll get your Employer Account Number (EAN) and filing frequency and tax rate within a few business days after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once New Mexico issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to set up your logins with state websites, and enter your tax IDs & rates into your payroll correctly.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
