We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Ohio Business Gateway for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Ohio Department of Taxation
You'll get your Withholding Account Number within about a few business days
State unemployment tax: Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
You'll get your Unemployment Tax ID and rate and tax rate within 3-4 weeks after you run your first payroll
Local tax agencies: Ohio municipal taxes and Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) for local taxes

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. We'll help you enter your Withholding ID and local taxes (if applicable) soon after registration. Next, we'll remind you to check the mail for your new Unemployment IDs and tax rates and help enter them into your payroll system.

If you have any questions in the future, we won't leave you hanging. We offer ongoing support packages in case anything goes wrong (and to make sure nothing goes wrong in the first place).
