Tax portal: WV One Stop Business Portal for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: West Virginia State Tax Department 
You'll get your withholding tax account number within about about a week
State unemployment tax: WorkForce West Virginia
You'll get your unemployment account number and tax rate within a couple of weeks after you run your first payroll
Local tax agencies: City of Huntington Finance Division or Parkersberg City Tax for local taxes

Depending on your industry, we may have a few questions about your business to make sure we're using the right SOC code. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once West Virginia issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to enter your tax IDs, SOC codes, and local tax details into your payroll correctly.
