We'll register you with:
Tax portal: Wisconsin DOR online account for paying and managing your tax accounts
We'll securely share your login credentials along with your Employer IDs
State income tax: Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR)
You'll get your withholding number within about a few business days
State unemployment tax: Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development
You'll get your unemployment number and tax rate within a couple of weeks after you run your first payroll

Sit back and relax—we'll let you know if we need anything else from you along the way. Most of the time you won't need to do anything until it's time to enter your new Employer IDs and tax rates into your payroll system.

Once Wisconsin issues your Employer IDs, we'll work with you to enter your tax IDs into your payroll correctly.
